Friends Of School

Welcome to Friends of School!  We are a very friendly, active and supportive group of parents, staff, friends and other family members who organise numerous events - social, fundraising and educational - during the school year, including the "Big 3" (Christmas Bazaar, Fireworks and the Summer Fete). Obviously our main aim is to raise much-needed funds for our school and we try to do this by organising family-orientated events so that everyone can join in and have fun as well!  Over the past 7 years, over £74,000 has been raised and used to enhance the resources/opportunities offered to our children.

Event Dates

Friday 14 May - Full FOS meeting.  1.30 pm in the school library - all welcome!  Pre-schoolers will have a selection of toys and books to keep them occupied while you come to the meeting 

Saturday 22 May 2010:  Car Boot Sale (11.00 am - 1.00 pm).  

Cars £7.00, vans £10.  No pre-booking required.  Sellers can access the field from 9.30 am.  Refreshments and bacon rolls available so come along for a butty and a bargain! Saturday 19 June 2010:  Car Boot Sale (10.30 am - 12.30 pm).

Friday 25 June - Non-Uniform Day in exchange for donations to the Bottle Tombola

Saturday 3 July:  12.00 - 3.00 pm.  Summer Fete (with a Beach theme).  Complete with Horace the Horse, Punch & Judy, Swingboats, whippy icecreams and other things associated with the seaside!   Look out for further information via bookbag letters starting soon.

Friday 23 July 6.00 pm onwards.  Family BBQ.  Further details nearer the time 

Saturday 2 October (11.00 - 12.30 pm):  Indoor As New Sale.  Further details nearer the time
